Rabbi, why can’t I eat bread on Passover? Because you’re fat. Fine – I will just eat a shit ton of butter & sugar instead. For those of you who are not avid torah readers, Passover, the feast of unleavened bread, celebrates the the liberation of the Jews from slavery in Egypt. When the Israelites were finally set free, they had no time to wait for the bread to rise – cue, the fest of unleavened bread.

Passover has sadly come and gone this year, but thankfully, my flourless desserts can perform long after the seder! Great desserts or sweet snacks for anytime of year…here is what I cooked this passover…

  1. Flourless Chocolate Cake, Tahini Frosting & Toffee Matzah
  2. Iced Coconut Halva, Pomegranate & Pistachio Bark
  3. Dark Chocolate, Pistachio, Honey Matzah Munch
  4. White Chocolate, Ginger, Lemon Matzah Munch
