I know what you’re thinking, she’s jumped on the bloody Acai bandwagon – shame on you. Well, I have. Well, kind off. I am not going to preach to you about the so-called superfood like qualities of this Brazilian berry, I am however going to bang on about how bloody good it tastes. It is like having a ‘healthy’ bowl of ice cream at 7am, how could that not be a wonderful thing. I have whizzed up my frozen berry pack with heaps of peanut butter – obviously. I have also toppedwith heaps of peanut butter, but please feel free to top with whatever tickles your fancy.

Ingredients 

2 ­bananas (frozen or fresh)
½ cup frozen strawberries or blueberries
½ cup frozen blueberries
1 (100g) packet frozen unsweetened acai blend
3 tbsp. smooth peanut butter (Pip & Nut Favourite*)
¼ cup almond milk
Toppings such as berries, strawberries, kiwi, granola, and peanut butter

Method

  1. In a high-powered blender (SMEG works like a dream), combine the all the ingredients and blend until completely smooth.
  2. Pour into a bowl and top with berries, granola, and a drizzle of peanut butter. Eat & enjoy immediately!
