A delicacy traditional to both Christmas and Hanukkah, Chrismukkah would not be complete without copious amounts of smoked salmon!
I was fortunate enough to visit the oldest salmon curers in the UK, H. Forman & Son (full living article & vlog coming soon!) where I learnt the considerable differences between mass-produced salmon and good-quality, traditionally smoked salmon – i.e. the real deal.The fresh, delicately smoked flavour is incomparable to that found in the essential aisle. Although the good stuff doesn’t come cheap, it is worth shelling out a few extra quid to truly spruce up your festivities!
